In both series, my main aim was to further explore the status and significance of the Qur’an itself and see how we can improve our personal relationship with the Book of Allah (swt). Although we covered some technical and theoretical themes which are typically discussed in courses on the Qur’anic sciences (‘ulūm al-Qur’ān) or methods and manners of Qur’anic exegesis, I tried to be more selective. My focus was more on knowing the reality of the Qur’an and understanding how to better relate and connect to it.
