- Hadith al-Thaqalayn: The Deposed Will of the Last Prophet to Humanity
Hadith al-Thaqalayn: The Deposed Will of the Last Prophet to Humanity
This is the author’s fourth book in refutation of Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah’s Minhaj al-Sunnah. It thoroughly addresses a major cause of concern to Ibn Taymiyyah and his followers: Hadith al-Thaqalayn. They traditionally deny the authenticity of the hadith as a whole, or – sometimes - of some versions of it. They equally rush to offer strange explanations and commentaries of its message. Therefore, in this research, Toyib Olawuyi has tabled a thorough investigation of the various chains and versions of the hadith, and has perfectly proved their absolute authenticity, using the strictest Sunni rijali standards. He has equally deflated the various misinterpretations of it by Ibn Taymiyyah, and has effectively locked him and his likes in a tight corner where they can never escape.
